Keeping our international students connected.

The International Center at UM-Flint is a dedicated resource for students, scholars, faculty, and visiting academics who come to our campus from around the world. Many of the staff members at the International Center are former international students who have graduated from UM-Flint and are now dedicated to helping other students thrive on campus and reach their goals.

Aetna asking for SSN?

Under direction from the IRS, Aetna has started soliciting for social security numbers (SSN) from subscribers in preparation for new tax regulations taking effect January 2016. Any international student who absolutely does not have any need to file an income tax return to the IRS can ignore the requests, but Aetna will have to continue to send them.  Please click on "MORE" for additional details.

Meet Our International Ambassadors

As International Center student staff, this selected group will assist with recruitment by communicating with prospective students as well as participating in virtual college fairs and chat sessions for different global markets.
