Which experience had the most impact on your personally?
Making new friends and being somewhat on my own.
What were your expectations of the trip? How did your experience differ from your expectations?
I expected to learn a lot of Japanese and explore Japan. My experiences were different from what I expected, but they were still exceeded. I learned a lot of Japanese.
What was the biggest difference in culture that you experienced while a abroad?
The strata of status. Respect and status are a large part of the culture.
What surprised you the most about your time abroad?
The contrast and similarities between tradition and pop culture. Tradition was often the root of pop culture.
How has this experience changed you?
It's made me a better person.
