How to Use the TV/DVD/VCR Combo

Introduction:

This Quicknote is written as a tool to assist University of
Michigan-Flint faculty, staff, and students who use the TV/DVD/VCR combo.

Using the DVD:

1.      Turn on the set by pressing the Power button on the far left of the Combo.

2.      To insert disc, press the button on DVD controls (see label on combo). 

3.      Place disc onto tray and press the button to close tray.

**Note: The Rew and FF buttons are used for both the DVD player and VCR.

**Note:  The DVD will automatically start to read the disc.

4.      Press the Play► button on the portion of the DVD controls (see label on combo).

5.      To remove DVD, press the button.

Using the VCR:

1.      Turn on the set by pressing the Power button on the far left of the Combo.

**Note:  Inserting a videotape will automatically turn the Combo on.

2.      Insert a Video Tape on the right. 

3.      Press the Play► button on the portion of the VCR controls (see label on combo).

**Note:  The tape will auto-play if there is no record tab.

4.      To remove tape, press the button.
