Emergency Maintenance Scheduled
We have identified an area of concern as it relates to Banner slowness and connectivity. The potential solution will require 5 – 30 minutes of downtime at 7:00 PM today (10/27/09). During this downtime the SIS website (www.umflint.edu/sis), Banner (http://www.umflint.edu/banner), Banner Reports (like SSEM2000), TouchNet (online credit card payments; including e-Commerce) and WebSam (computer account manager) will be unavailable. Please close all connections to Banner prior to 6:55PM today. As always we appreciate your patience as we work through this issue.
SIS and Banner are normally available 24 hours a day, except for the following regularly-scheduled downtimes:
- Weekly Maintenance: Thursdays, 11:30pm - Fridays 6:00am
- Weekly Backup: Sundays, 3:00am - 5:30am
- Monthly Upgrades: third Sunday of the month, 3:00am - 2:00pm
- Monthly Reporting: first day of the month, 12:00 midnight - 3:00am
- Semester Snapshot: the tenth day of classes, 8pm - 12:00 midnight
