Awareness Campaign - Computer Security 101
The User Advocate Committee
The User Advocate Committee oversees responsible use of computing resources at the University. The User Advocate Committee investigates reports of violations and works within the University community to ensure that information technology policies are followed. Users are asked to report violations to the User Advocate Committee if an abuse of University computing resources is suspected, including:
- harassing messages,
- spam from within the University,
- digital copyright infringement, or
- misappropriation of computing resources for commercial use.
