Ally 101
An interactive program exploring homophobia and heterosexism, ways to be supportive to the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender community and how to contribute to creating a campus community that is safe and inclusive for everyone. Training is open to all students, faculty, staff and community members.
Erase Homophobia
The “Erase Homophobia” campaign focuses on raising awareness about the issue of homophobia and how it can impact everyone.
In-Class Discussions
The center offers in-class discussions to educate and provide awareness of various topics including heterosexism, homophobia, etc.
LGBT Center Open House
Our open house is a great way to learn about the programs and services we offer and socialize with returning and new LGBT students.
National Coming Out Week
Every year the center organizes on a variety of programs (guest speakers, trainings, dance, etc) in celebration of National Coming Out Day, an internationally-observed civil awareness day for coming out.
Transgender Day of Remembrance
Each November 20th, the center observes this day to remember those who have lost their lives due to anti-transgender hatred or prejudice (transphobia).
Pride Week
Pride Week is a week long celebration of events to raise awareness while celebrating LGBT community pride.
