University of Michigan - Flint

In order to better understand the history of both the LGBT and Flint communities, we need your help!  We would like to begin a personal stories project in which members of the community tell their stories.  These range from coming out stories to personal histories related to one's sexual orientation and/or gender identity, or descriptions of LGBT life in the the Flint area and throughout Michigan, both today and in the past.  It is through small actions that the continued dedication to the advancement of LGBT people in our area thrives.  Please help us create a well-needed account of LGBT people in our area by sharing your story and by influencing others to also share. 

All stories will remain anonymous unless otherwise requested by the author.  In writing your history, please be sure to include a reference to time period and location.
