Use of an MCard carries with it financial responsibility for all materials borrowed from the library. Lost or damaged material will be billed to the MCard holder.
Interlibrary Loan: Many materials not owned by the Thompson Library may be obtained at no cost to you through Interlibrary Loan. Orders normally take 3-5 working days.
All ILL renewals must be done through your ILLiad account. Use your uniqname and Kerberos/Ann Arbor password.
Circulating materials in the University Library system on the Ann Arbor campus can be sent to Flint via Get This.
UM-Flint students, faculty, and staff have borrowing privileges at most of the libraries on the Ann Arbor and Dearborn campuses (the Law Library in Ann Arbor is an exception). Books borrowed from Ann Arbor may be returned to UM-Flint. Never return University materials to a public library, or materials from a public library to UM-Flint.
You may obtain limited borrowing privileges at local academic libraries by requesting an Area Resource Sharing (ARS) card at the Circulation Desk. Libraries available include: Baker, Kettering, and Mott Community College. (No public libraries included.)
For all inquiries about circulation, please contact the Circulation Desk, by e-mail at circulation@umflint.edu, or by phone at (810) 762-3400.
