Get This

You can have circulating books sent from Ann Arbor to Flint using Get This. To do so, you must login to Mirlyn with your uniqname and Kerberos/Ann Arbor password.

Once you're logged in to Mirlyn, click on in the Full Record for a book. Then simply click on the "Get This" link next to the item on the Holdings screen and follow the instructions to submit your request. You can also use the Get This to place a hold on a book that's on loan to someone else, or to have the book retrieved and held for you at the Circulation Desk.

Response time varies from 2-3 days if the book is on the shelf, to weeks or more if it's on order or currently on loan to someone else, plus transit time from Ann Arbor to Flint. Get This can be used to send for circulating books only. (The quickest way to obtain an item is to go to the owning library and find it yourself on the shelves. You can use your MCard to borrow materials from most UM Libraries in Ann Arbor and Dearborn.)

For items that aren't available in Ann Arbor or Flint, you can use Interlibrary Loan.
