What I Do
My time is divided between reference and cataloging. While acting as a reference librarian, I help students, faculty and staff with their research questions, staff the reference desk, teach reference instruction classes, am a liaison for the Art and Biology Departments and order new books for the library. The other half of my time is spent in technical services cataloging books and maintaining our online catalog.
My goal is to teach our students to be better researchers, show them how to find the information they need so they can take those skills and use them throughout their education and future careers.
I’m on campus Monday through Thursday from September through May.
