Easy Search allows you to streamline your search by providing “clustered results” which allow you to narrow your search by topic, date, journals, or authors. Easy Search will link you to full text articles and resources when available, and notify you if the article is available in our print holdings or through a database not included in the original search. If none of these options are available it will provide you with a citation so that you can locate it through Interlibrary Loan (ILL).

The Easy Search box provides you with three options for you search:

• Journal Articles: This will bring back results that are articles and citations from Journals related to the chosen topic. This option is good if you have an assignment that requires results only from peer reviewed scholarly journals.
• Background Information: This will bring back results of reference materials or books related to chosen topic. This option is good if you would like results that are more comprehensive than a journal article may be.
• Journal Articles AND Background Information: This will bring back all the results from a search regardless of the source. This option is good if you have a research paper and there is no requirement regarding the source of the materials (i.e. book vs. journal).
