Math Field Day
The UM-Flint Mathematics department annually hosts Math Field Day, a mathematics competition for teams of high school students. It consists of four team and three individual competitions. All secondary schools in Michigan are encouraged to send a team with a teacher advisor. First, second, and third place prizes of books, medals, trophies, and plaques are given for five of the competitions and for overall team performance in three divisions.
The Mathematics Department of the University of Michigan-Flint is pleased to announce the 47th Math Field Day, to be held Friday, March 7, 2014, on the UM-Flint Campus. Registration for 47th Math Field Day will open shortly.
We gratefully acknowledge the help of the sponsers of Math Field Day, Gabriel, Roder, Smith & Company.
