Math Field Day

The UM-Flint Mathematics department annually hosts Math Field Day, a mathematics competition for teams of high school students. It consists of four team and three individual competitions. All secondary schools in Michigan are encouraged to send a team with a teacher advisor. First, second, and third place prizes of books, medals, trophies, and plaques are given for five of the competitions and for overall team performance in three divisions.

The Mathematics Department of the University of Michigan-Flint is pleased to announce the 49th Math Field Day, to be held Friday, March 4, 2016, on the UM-Flint Campus.  Information for online registration will appear early 2016.

We gratefully acknowledge the help of the sponsers of Math Field Day:  Gabriel, Roder, Smith & Company, and Auto-Owners Insurance.
