What is MFUSE 2008?

2008 will be the most exciting, and most important, year for Flint’s efforts to transform into a true “College Town.” Central to that change is the opening of UM-Flint’s 310-bed residence hall this August. As students reshape the campus into a vibrant 24/7 space to grow, learn, live and experience, a new culture and connectedness to downtown Flint and the entire greater Flint community will take root.

To help that spirit and sense of possibility grow, the University of Michigan-Flint is throwing what we hope will become an annual tradition: part block party, part concert festival, all at a scale not seen in downtown Flint in many years - and focused squarely at the population most critical to Flint’s future success.

The April 16th concert will take place outside in the UM-Flint Recreation Center parking area, along the southern bank of the Flint River. More information on parking options to follow. Questions or comments: Call 810.767.6465
