About Common
Common is one of the most inspiring, positive and dynamic individuals of his generation. His Common Ground Foundation is dedicated to utilizing the cultural relevance of hip-hop to fight poverty, promote justice, education, community health and activism among youth in underserved communities.
He has won Grammies with Kanye West, shared the silver screen with Ray Liotta and Ben Afflek in Smokin’ Aces, and co-starred with Russell Crowe and Denzel Washington in the Oscar-nominated film American Gangster. His much-anticipated film Street Kings, with Forest Whitaker and Keanu Reeves, is slated for nationwide release the weekend before his MFUSE concert appearance.
