Junior Summer Academy
JUNIOR ACADEMY OF MUSIC
The University of Michigan-Flint will once again offer a SUMMER JUNIOR ACADEMY OF MUSIC for students completing grades 5, 6, 7, and 8. This is the 26th year for the ACADEMY! Here are the details:
WHEN: Tuesday, July 7 – Friday, July 17
TIME: 9:00 a.m.– 2:30 p.m. daily, excluding Saturday and Sunday
WHAT: Jr. Academy Choir (twice a day)
Dance/Movement
Vocal Techniques Class
Painting & Drawing
Music Investigation Class
COST: $145 for the entire two weeks
CONCERT: Friday, July 17 at 7:00p.m.
The Academy seeks students who can match pitch, love to sing, and want to develop their musicianship. At less than $17/day, the ACADEMY is a wise investment in summer music education.
Auditions for new students will be held in room 140 French Hall at UM-Flint. The audition schedule is below:
Monday, May 11 4:00-5:00 p.m.
Tuesday, May 12 5:00-6:00 p.m.
Friday, May 29 5:00-6:00 p.m.
Saturday, May 30 12:00-1:00 p.m.
