Hello Tuba and Euphonium Players
October 22, 2019
Dear Tuba and Euphonium Players:
It’s TubaChristmas time once more! On Saturday, December 14, the University of Michigan-Flint will sponsor its annual TUBACHRISTMAS concert. We will give one concert this year at the Flint Farmers’ Market. For those wishing to brave the elements, we will give a brief 10-12-minute pre-concert outside the Market at 11:45 AM.
PLEASE BRING A MUSIC STAND.
TUBACHRISTMAS rehearsal will be held on the University of Michigan-Flint campus, in Room 144 of French Hall at 303 E. Kearsley Street in Flint. There is plenty of free parking on Saturdays in the Harrison/Kearsley St parking ramp. We will have chairs available for the rehearsal, but please bring your own music stand to the performance.
9:30-10:00 AM Registration First Floor French Hall
10:00 AM-11:15 AM Rehearsal 144 French Hall
11:45 AM Outdoor Concert
12:15 PM Set-up at the Flint Farmers’ Market
12:30 PM Concert
The registration fee is $10. If you need the TUBACHRISTMAS Carol Book, the cost is an additional $20.00. Regretfully, the cost of the Carol book increased – we are charging cost only, and no profit is made from the sale of the Carol Book.
The registration fee and the Carol Book may be paid in cash or by check. Please make checks payable to University of Michigan-Flint(not TUBACHRISTMAS).
We look forward to seeing you again this year. If you have any questions, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org or (810) 424-5315.
