While Michigan continues to struggle to pull itself out of the recession, regional businesses are being offered a unique opportunity to expand overseas. The University of Michigan-Flint School of Management (SOM) is inviting regional businesses to join their Trade Mission to Russia from November 7-15, 2009.

The University of Michigan-Flint School of Management (SOM) will honor representatives from top area businesses at a special celebration. The 2nd Business Appreciation Dinner will be held on Thursday, September 24 with a reception at 5:30 p.m. in the Grand Ballroom of Northbank Center in downtown Flint.

The School of Management at the University of Michigan-Flint is an outstanding business school, according to The Princeton Review.  The education services company features the school in the new 2010 edition of its book, The Best 301 Business Schools.

The University of Michigan-Flint’s MBA program has been ranked among the top 10 part-time MBA programs in the Midwest by BusinessWeek.  The magazine’s latest rankings released on November 5, 2009, also places UM-Flint 41st nationally among part-time MBA programs.
