Reporting Student Sexual Misconduct

The University of Michigan-Flint values the dignity, respect, and safety of all students and is firmly committed to maintaining a campus environment free from sexual harassment, sexual assault, and other forms of sex-based discrimination (collectively referred to as sexual misconduct).  Sexual misconduct is a violation of the Statement of Student Rights and Responsibilities.  The University takes sexual misconduct seriously and offers a number of options/resources when an incident occurs.  Students are encouraged to report the incident as soon as it happens.  

 

To file a formal student conduct complaint to begin investigation of an incident, students should contact:

To file a police report:

Sexual violence is a crime. In addition to submitting a formal student conduct complaint, students are encouraged to file a police report with the Department of Public Safety.
