Admissions:

Admission to the Program is based on a competative, blind application process that happens twice a year. Cohorts begin in Fall and in Winter. Application is available on the website the semester before you are seeking admission.

In order to be considered for admission, you must have met the following requirements:

  • Completion of the Program Prerequisites: A minimum of 4 out of the 8 must be completed in order to be eligible to apply, 2 of them must be science courses. All remaining prerequisite courses must be completed prior to the semester for which you are applying.
  • A minimum of a 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) of all prerequisite courses.
  • A minimum of a 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) of the most recent 30 credits completed.
  • A minimum of two references (one professional & one academic) - more are allowed but two are required.
  • An essay to accompany your application. The question is available in the application and changes from year to year.

She has worked in higher education her entire career and joins us after serving at both Central Michigan University and Saginaw Valley State University.
