Pi Delta Chapter Research
Welcome to the Pi Delta Chapter. We represent the mission of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing: to support the learning, knowledge, and professional development of nurses committed to making a difference in health worldwide. The Pi Delta Chapter supports the scholarship and professional development of our members and offers opportunities to be active in our chapter through leadership, service, mentorship, and continuing education events.
The primary goal of the Research and Special Project Funding Committee of Sigma Theta Tau International is to encourage membership to contribute to the advancement of nursing through research and special projects. To this end, the Committee has set aside funds to be awarded to members involved in such efforts.
Allocation of funds is based on the quality of the proposed project and evaluated according to the Outline for Preparation of Grant Proposals. The amount of the award will be determined by the funds available to the Committee, with a maximum award of $1,000.
Awards will be presented at the Pi Delta Chapter Induction Ceremony. Recipients are expected to attend.
Go to Research Grants for more information, including deadlines and forms on how to apply for a Pi Delta Chapter Research and Special Project grant.
