Nurse2Nurse Fund - Now Available Nurse2Nurse is a new project funded by Michigan's nursing organizations and individual nurses to provide emergency grants-in-aid to prelicensure RN and LPN students facing a one-time need that otherwise would force them to leave school. The Nurse2Nurse grants-in-aid will not exceed $250. Watch for a Nurse2Nurse Piggy Bank at Nursing meetings this winter to help contribute to the fund. As of April, we have given out over $1,100 in Nurse2Nurse emergency funds. For more information on Nurse2Nurse, contact the Michigan Center for Nursing at (517) 347-8091 or visit online at http://www.michigancenterfornursing.org/. |
