Mary Linton, DNP, RN, NNP-BC, CNE
Dr. Mary Linton is an Assistant Professor of Nursing in the School of Nursing. She has a DNP from Case Western Reserve University. She is a board certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner and a Certified Nurse Educator. Dr. Linton joined the faculty in the School of Nursing at the University of Michigan-Flint in the fall of 2014.
Dr. Linton is the faculty for Theoretical Concepts for Professional Nursing Practice (NUR 300) and Synthesis of Knowledge for Professional Nursing Practice (NUR 421) in the RN to BSN program.
RESEARCH AND SCHOLARSHIP
The primary focus of Dr. Linton's research will be enhancing online education in nursing. Other research interests include student satisfaction with RN-BSN educational experiences and international academic service learning.
Dr. Linton serves on the RN to BSN Program Committee, the Undergraduate Curriculum Committee, the Undergraduate Academic Standards Committee, The International Global Studies Committee, and the Chancellors Women’s Commission.
