Mary Linton, DNP, RN, NNP-BC, CNE
Dr. Mary Linton is an Assistant Professor of Nursing in the School of Nursing. She has a DNP from Case Western Reserve University. She is a board certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner practicing in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in the Detroit area. Dr. Linton joined the faculty in the School of Nursing at the University of Michigan-Flint in the fall of 2014.
Dr. Linton is the faculty for the Essentials of Professional Nursing (NUR 300) in the RN to BSN program. Previously she taught Synthesis of Knowledge (NUR 421) as an adjunct faculty member.
RESEARCH AND SCHOLARSHIP
The primary focus of Dr. Linton's research will be enhancing online education in nursing.
Dr. Linton serves on the RN to BSN Program Committee, the Undergraduate Curriculum Committee, the Undergraduate Student Affairs Committee, and the School of Health Professions and Studies Student Appeals Committee.
