Are We at a Tipping or Breaking Point in Continuing Education?
Many factors are changing the landscape for continuing education units. If the continuing education leader looks at each factor independent of the others, all looks manageable. However, given changes to our workplace, consumer demographics, MOOCs and pressures placed on adult and professional students, has continuing education reached a tipping or breaking point? This trend presentation looks at changing demographics, increased competition, developments with marketing and CRM, technological advancements and challenges to the future student. We anticipate that the end result will challenge your continuing education units and campuses to rethink how you develop, deliver and market your programs, as well as how you are organized and manage the processes you have in place.
