Adding a Calendar Event

The Course Calendar is a useful tool to use as a reminder to students when particular tasks are due.

Step 1: Click on the Control Panel link and click on Course Calendar.

Step 2: Click on the Add Event button to begin adding your calendar event.

Step 3: This will bring you to the Event Information page. First enter the Event Title in the text box. Next, write the Event Description in the text box directly below the event title text box.

Step 4: Select the appropriate date that the event will occur on. Then select both the starting and ending times for the event. Note that the end time has to be later than the start time.

Step 5: Click on the button to submit the calendar event. You will receive a receipt page to confirm your action. Click on the button to close the Calendar Receipt page. This will finish the addition of your calendar event.
