A banner for your course can be created several ways. A banner is a graphic. You could put any graphic (jpg or gif) into the banner space in your course. If you know how to use Paint, Fireworks, Photoshop, or another graphics program, you can create your own custom banner incorporating images and text. If you're not so confident in your graphic design skills, you might start by using the creation tool found at a site like www.flamingtext.com , www.cooletext.com , or www.3dtextmaker.com . Once you have the graphic you would like to use for you course banner, you are ready to begin.
Step 1 : Click on the Control Panel link in your course.
Step 2 : Click on the Course Design link.
Step 3 : Now click on the Course Banner link.
This page will show the banner you currently have selected, as well as allowing you to use a new one or to remove the current banner.
Step 4 : Click on the Browse button to add your new banner graphic. This will bring up a new window for you to navigate to the location of the graphic. Click on the graphic and choose open.
Step 5 : Now click the Submit button at the bottom of the page. You should receive a receipt of success. To view your course banner, go to the announcements page that can be viewed upon entering the course.
