This guide will walk you through using the Assignment manager to submit assignments to the View/Complete link.
If you are in Blackboard and you see an assignment that looks similar to the one below, your instructor is using the assignment manager. You should recognize this by the clipboard icon and because of the link below the assignment that will always be >>View/Complete Assignment: and the name of the assignment you are submitting.

Where this assignment says "Use the View/Complete link below to submit the assignment" your instructor might give specific instructions regarding the assignment. Read these carefully. To review all of the instructions along with any files your instructor has attached, click the "View/Complete" link. You will see this on your screen:

1) Assignment Information includes the assignment name and the instructions for completing the assignment.
2) Assignment Materials includes an area to comment on the
assignment that is being turned in. You should type a comment (Blackboard will not allow you to submit without one), and then click the
button to locate the file on your computer or a disk.
If you are submitting more than one file
Once the first file has been located using the Browse process, click the [Open]
button. Then click the
button. Locate the second file using the
button.
Repeat this process until you have attached all of the necessary
files. Remember to click
for
each file. If by accident you click on
button before you have added all files,
then it will not let you add any more files for that assignment/exams.
If you want to save the files to submit later
Once you have all of the files attached click
. This will save the files here in the view
complete assignments folder. Your professor will not be able to see these files unless you click submit.
Submitting the Assignment
Once you are satisfied with the file(s) that are attached, you will need to click the
button. Only then will your instructor
be able to see your assignment submission.
