Posting a Thread in a Discussion Board

This guide will walk you through the process of posting a new thread to a Discussion Board.

Posting a New Thread in a Board:

Step 1: Click on the Communication button.

Step 2: Click on the Discussion Boards link.

Step 3: Click on the discussion board that you want to add a thread to, and then click the Thread button.

Step 4: This will bring you to the Create New Message page. First enter the Subject of the thread in the subject text field. Next, enter your message within the Message text field. Finally, if you would like to add an attachment to your thread, you can use the attach file button found in the text box editor or by choosing Attach a file in the attachments section .

Step 5: By clicking the Preview button you can preview your thread to see what it will look like before posting.  When you are finished previewing, click OK to return to the Create New Thread page.
