EDT 521 - Academic Course Requirement
Students enrolled in EDT521 may take these noncredit courses for academic credit. Three SB-CEUs equal one academic credit hour.

ONLINE AND MIXED MODE ACADEMIC PROGRAMS

Africana Studies Certificate
Perfect for K-12 teachers, this interdisciplinary, 18-credit certificate program can be completed entirely online or through evening, Saturday or weekday courses.

Bachelor of Business Administration
The University of Michigan-Flint's School of Management is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.  The Bachelor of Business Administration program is perfect for transfer students and offers all of the courses for a general business concentration online.  

Master of Arts in Education--Technology in Education
This concentration is designed for people who wish to enhance their knowledge and skills in the use of technology in education. Teaching certification is not required, although the concentration enables Michigan certified teachers to add an educational technology (NP) endorsement on their certificate. The program is offered in a mixed mode format, which blends Internet-based coursework with limited on-campus meetings.

Master of Arts in Education--Technology in Education Global Program
The Global Program is a condensed, 15-month concentration that offers convenient online courses and two 3-week summer residencies in Geneva, Switzerland.

Master of Public Administration (MPA) with a Concentration in Education Adminstration
This program targets both current and aspiring K-12 education administrators. Classes meet one Saturday per month with the remainder of course work conducted online.

NetPlus! Master of Business Administration Program
The NetPlus! MBA program is an innovative, online version of the traditional MBA program that includes a weekend campus session (Friday-Saturday) every six weeks.

RN-to-BSN Online Program
This totally online program is designed for working registered nurses who want to complete their degree while they work.

Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
In the fall of 2009, there will be a significant change to the nurse practitioner program at the University of Michigan-Flint. A new, online Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree will be offered, and the previous Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) will no longer be offered.

Post-Professional Transitional DPT (t-DPT)
The Transitional Doctor of Physical Therapy (t-DPT) program is offered for currently practicing physical therapists who are interested in augmenting their Bachelor or Masters education to earn a DPT.
