Venture Funds to Start Your Business

Start Garden is Grand Rapids based, $15,000,000 seed venture fund that invests in very early stage ideas. $5,000 is invested in two new ideas each week ranging from internet technology to physical products. Ideas are submitted to startgarden.com and can come from anywhere. One of those ideas is chosen by the Start Garden Team, the other by the general public. From there the idea can be funded from $20,000 up to $500,000. In addition to financial capital, they also invest intellectual and social capital to help entrepreneurs move their ideas forward.
