Africana Studies (AAS) is an interdisciplinary studies program
designed for students wishing to examine various dimensions of the
American Africana experience. This program offers unique opportunities
for community service and community involvement. Subjects that range
over broad geographical and interdisciplinary areas include courses
in anthropology, economics, education, history, literature, music,
philosophy, political science, psychology, social work, sociology,
theatre, music and visual art.
