Application Deadlines:
Students are admitted in the Fall semester only. Application is made through PTCAS. All PTCAS-required documents must be submitted to PTCAS by December 3. It can take up to five weeks for PTCAS to send UM-Flint all of your documents after you have submitted them to PTCAS. If you do not submit all PTCAS materials to PTCAS by December 3, the materials may arrive at UM-Flint late and will thus take your application out of consideration. All documents required for admission, including GRE scores and documents sent to UM-Flint by PTCAS must be received by January 15.

* For International Students with an existing bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy, it would be in your best interest to explore transitional DPT programs designed for Physical Therapists who hold a degree and wish to pursue a post professional doctorate degree. Please refer to the APTA website for a list of programs that offer a transitional DPT degree.
Application Forms:
In order to be considered as part of the applicant pool, you will need to fully complete a Clinical Observation Form. This form is available on the PTCAS website. This is the second part of a two-step application process to our DPT program. If you are just beginning the application process, please visit the Graduate Admissions page for complete instructions.
