DPT Curriculum

The University of Michigan-Flint offers both a full-time and part-time curriculum track.  Students learn in cohort groups on a predetermined 3-year curricular plan for full-time students.  The part-time program means a reduced credit load per semester and does not imply a limited number of days per week on campus.  Courses are scheduled according to other classes and space limitations in the overall program.

Students who select and who are admitted to the part-time track will:
1. Remain in part-time status (as defined by the University) for at least two years.
2. Follow a predetermined part-time curriculum plan which is established following admission to the program.
3. Complete the DPT program within a 6 year period.
4. Enroll as a full-time student in Clinical Education II, III, IV, V, and VI.
