VA Cardiopulmonary Physical Therapy Residency Program Announcement

“Choose to lead and achieve clinical excellence in cardiovascular and pulmonary (CVP) physical therapy.  Considering a CVP residency program…join the University of Michigan-Flint Difference. Physical therapists may enroll in an online, Post-Professional residency that reflects the broadest possible spectrum of contemporary CVP practice.  The CVP Description of Advanced Practice and Guide to Physical Therapy Practice form the core of the curriculum and are integrated throughout the certificate/residency coursework. The curriculum draws upon the expertise of the faculty to provide evidence-based published material to help residents develop specific tests, measures, and intervention regimens and outcomes using case studies with patient-client management model to experience   application to practice and patterns.  Gain the skills you need for advanced CVP practice PT, network with other cardiovascular an pulmonary PT practitioners, and get prepared for the APTA Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Specialist Certification Examination.”

Advance your cardiovascular and pulmonary practice, enhance your knowledge and skills, broaden your clinical perspective, invigorate your passion for the profession and become a practitioner of choice.
