Flint now offers a Bike Share program using Zagster bikes with the theme of “Cycle City.” Located at several downtown locations and at the Genesee County Parks Administration Building. Genesee Wanderers Bicycle Club
If you enjoy bike riding with other cyclists in the greater Flint area, you are invited to become a member of the Genesee Wanderers Bicycle Club. We sponsor weekly rides in various locations including Lennon. Grand Blanc, Flushing, Linden, Davison, Fenton and Gaines. Generally, these rides are hosted on scenic, flat, low traffic roads.

Pot O' Gold 4 Mile Run & Walk

Starting at the Masonic Temple in Flint, MI, the fast, flat, and scenic 4-mile course runs thru the University of Michigan Flint campus, thru the cultural area and loops around to finish Downtown. The course goes thru Mott Estate and finishes at the Masonic Temple.

Huckleberry Hustle & Little Berry Dash

Welcome to the 2017 Huckleberry Hustle & Little Berry Dash! The race begins and ends at Crossroads Village, with a fun trek through beautiful woods and country trails in between! It’s a great off-road 5K course that’s ideal for runners and walkers, whether you’re a seasoned athlete or just lacing your shoes for the first time!

The Assenmacher 100 is a recreational and social fun bicycle ride through the farmland and villages of mid-Michigan. Started in 1980, it has become one of Michigan's premier century rides and has been endorsed by the Governor's Council on Physical Fitness, Health and Sports. With routes of 20, 34, 56, 66, and 100 miles, there are courses for experienced cyclists as well as the casual rider.

Proceeds go to support the YMCA summer camp program, and the theater programs at St. Pius X Catholic School, one of our local schools. For a late-November outdoor event in Michigan, participation can vary depending on the weather, but the race will go on; sun, wind, rain or snow.
Santa Family Run/Walk

The YMCA Family Santa Run/Walk is an untimed 5k and 1 mile event for the entire community! In the spirit of the season, each participant receives a 5 piece Santa suit to wear during the event. Thousands of Santa's descend on Downtown Flint to raise money for over 8,000 youth, families and seniors to use the services at the Y!
