PEERRS (the Program for Education and Evaluation in Responsible Research and Scholarship) is a web-based tutorial and certification program for all University of Michigan faculty, staff, or students involved in research. PEERRS is designed to improve your knowledge and awareness of responsible research practices. Each module in the tutorial consists of approximately 20-30 web pages of core material, case studies with questions, and pop-ups with additional information to provide greater depth and elaboration. At the end of each module a brief examination is given to test your knowledge in that particular section.
Certification in PEERRS is required to submit eResearch applications, apply for Office of Research funding opportunities, or to participate in UROP.
