Create Online Surveys Using Qualtrics
Qualtrics is a very powerful tool used for creating and distribution online surveys, data storage and analysis. The University of Michigan has purchased a system wide site license for this service. Therefore, subject to conditions of use listed in an accompanying FAQ, there is no limit on the number of surveys that can be created using the Qualtrics service.
To create a Qualtrics account, visit: http://umflint.qualtrics.com. Click on the "Please click here to create an account" link at the bottom left of the screen. You MUST use your FULL UM-Flint email address (i.e. username@umflint.edu) as your username. You can select whatever password you like (it does NOT have to be your LAN password). You are only allowed to create one account in Qualtrics, so it is important that you remember the password you use.
Trainings
In addition to the Introduction to Qualtrics workshops offered throughout the year through the Office of Research, Qualtrics also provides regularly scheduled web training sessions. Their offerings include a one hour Basic training on Qualtrics, a one hour Advanced training course, as well as specialized courses covering the various Question types in Qualtrics, setting up panels, and many more advanced functions.
