Research Spotlight - Dr. Joseph Sucic
Presenter: Dr. Joseph Sucic, Associate Professor of Biology
Title of Presentation: Why do cancer cells metastasize?
Brief Summary: This project works around a novel hypothesis to answer the question of why cancer cells metastasize, with pilot funding from the College of Arts and Sciences, and a Research & Creative Activity Grant in the Fall of 2008. When the study began, there was no other research of this specific kind being done, thus it creates the point of reference for this type of work.
