Research Funding (Undergraduate Students)
Endowed funding have been provided to the University to support student travel to present or attend professional conferences. In general, student research funds provide support for new and promising research endeavors, encourage individual or group scholarly work, and recognize ambitious student research agendas.
Individuals and groups of students may apply for up to $500 per project per academic year. Awards will not affect financial aid.
Students interested in any form of research may apply. You must be a currently-enrolled, part-time or full-time undergraduate student with at least 55 completed credit hours and a minimum GPA of 2.5.
When To Apply
Students are encouraged to apply at any time during the year. However, funds are limited and are granted on a first-come, first-serve basis. The Office of Research must receive your completed application at least one month prior to the commencement of your project or attendance at a conference.
PEERRS certification is also required in order to apply for Office of Research funding.
