Dr. Olanrewaju Aluko is an Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering. Olanrewaju earned both his Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Ilorin in Nigeria. He also earned his Ph.D. In Mechanical Engineering from Howard University in Washington DC.

Dr. Aluko's research interests include:

• Mechanical behavior, characterization and processing of metallic alloy
• Nanostructured materials and nanocomposites
• Modeling of fibrous composite materials under shock, fatigue and impact loading
• Pedagogic models in engineering education
