Project Description: I am developing text materials for my Numerical Analysis course (MTH 374), and I need to get student perspectives, in order to make materials more understandable to students. The existing textbooks are written for instructors--not students. They are written in a language that only professional mathematicians can understand. It is necessary to develop new materials understandable to students. And this can be done by involving students, who can test the materials, and then give their opinions to improve the text.
Student Tasks & Responsibilities: 1. Read and test text materials. 2. Discuss improvements.
Minimum Student Qualifications: The student should have calculus and linear algebra backgrounds.
