Project Description: Project is two-fold. Part one is an assessment of sexual risk-taking behavior among college aged men and women. Part two is the implementation of a series of workshops for college aged women around barrier contraceptive use. Part two will be informed by the data that is collected from the survey questionnaire. The student will utilize survey research methodology and gain experience in conducting health behavior workshops.
Student Tasks & Responsibilities: To develop, implement, and analyze a survey regarding sexual risk taking behaivor among college aged men and women.
Minimum Student Qualifications: Student(s) should have familiarity with SPSS or EXCEL, familiarity with data entry, strong math background to assist in calculations and analysis, should be highly motivated, able to work well with guidance, should be an independent worker, organized, and has strong oral and written communication skills. Preferred: public health or health education student.
