Project Description: Security is one of the most important aspect of today’s cloud computing environment. The traditional methods of security in regular networks are not applicable to Cloud Computing for a few reasons. First, cloud need to remain fiscally feasible so they are limited on computation power consumption. Second, there is a chance of physical attack that normal networks rarely encounter. Third, unlike a traditional network, cloud have to interact with multiple network environment.
Student Tasks & Responsibilities: Students will conduct research directly with the project sponsor, write programs to create simulated environments, write papers, and possibly do a senior project on the topic.
Minimum Student Qualifications:
