Project Description: Student will undertake research on the late 19th/20th century houses on the block of Stone Street between University (3rd)Ave and 2nd Avenue where a prehistoric Native cemetery was discovered and recovered
Student Tasks & Responsibilities: Document houses on the block, including any information related to deeds, insurance map information, outbuildings, photographs, sub-surface disturbance (size/depth of basements), owner/occupants of houses etc.
Minimum Student Qualifications: Taken Public History course with Thomas Henthorn (History) and familiarized her/his self with document searches from Grand Blanc, MI - apply this to Flint, MI.
