Project Description: Working with the Department of Human Services, this project involves quantitative and qualitative research and data analysis methods, document/evidence gathering and analysis (e.g., crime report data; national, state, and local educational statistics), and literature review on truancy and attendance for k-12.
Student Tasks & Responsibilities: Gathering data Working collaboratively with school social worker and 'success coach' (DHS worker in school) Analyzing data Writing a literature review Writing a final report.
