Project Title: Prediction of vaccination participation in college students

Project Description: The Health Belief Model (HBM )was developed in the 1950's by the U.S. Public Health Service to predict factors determining participation in health protective behaviors. The present project is a series of studies attempting to predict participation in vaccinations (seasonal flu, HPV, meningitis and measles) in undergraduate college students using HBM factors. Data will be collected using online surveys of undergraduate and graduate student volunteers.
Student Tasks & Responsibilities: Student will be involved in library search, questionnaire development, data collection, data analysis and writing where needed.
Minimum Student Qualifications: Psychology major with completion of research design and statistics.
