Room Selection is the process that current first-year and upperclass students go through in Winter semester to select their on-campus housing assignments for the next academic year.
This is general information for students going through the Room Selection process during Winter semester. Details about all Room Selection will be forthcoming - you will receive most information about Room Selection as an email to your UM-Flint email address. There are three steps to Room Selection:
- Apply online through the Student Information System (SIS)
- Sign your Contract online and make a deposit payment of $250
- Select your room on Room Selection Day
Room Selection Day takes place in the winter semester in the Riverfront Residence Hall Lobby. Staff members from the offices of Financial Aid and Student Accounts will on-site to assist with any financial questions and staff from Dining Services will be there to discuss the meal plan!
If you miss Room Selection Day, you are welcome to stop into the Housing and Residential Life Office on the first floor of Riverfront Residence Hall to select your room.
