January 8 – January 14, 2005
01/08/05 Saturday Public Safety assisted Flint Police with arresting a subject with a gun near the border of campus. The gun turned out to be a pellet gun. Flint Police arrested him for felony assault for having used the gun to threaten a bus station security guard.
01/10/05 Monday Several Central High School students skipping school were loitering in the Harding Mott University Center . They were transported back to the school and released to school officials.
01/11/05 Tuesday A student suffered an epileptic seizure and passed out in French Hall . Public Safety responded and provided aid until medical personnel arrived and transported him to a medical facility.
01/11/05 Tuesday A student violated the terms of a PPO and attended a class with the PPO petitioner. The student was arrested and lodged in the Genesee County Jail.
01/11/05 Tuesday A student reported hit and run property damage to her car while it was parked in the University Pavilion parking ramp. An investigation is continuing.
01/13/05 Thursday An intoxicated subject in possession of a bottle of vodka entered the Hubbard building in the early morning hours claiming he was seeking a job. The subject left the office area but passed out in the front foyer area. Public Safety transported him home.
01/13/05 Thursday An intoxicated person was found loitering in the Library . He was removed from University property.
01/14/05 Friday A student reported hit and run property damage to his car that had been parked in Lot A near the Recreation Center. An investigation is continuing.
