February 5 – February 11, 2005
02/08/05 A student reported the theft of three hundred dollars in cash from her purse. She had accidentally left her purse on a couch in the Murchie Science Building for approximately one hour. When she returned, her purse was gone. It was turned into Public Safety and later claimed by the owner. The student discovered that a small change purse containing the money was missing. This investigation continues.
02/11/05 Two counterfeit twenty dollar bills were found amongst the day's receipts at the William S. White Building Information Desk. The counterfeit money has been turned over to the U.S. Secret Service for further investigation per Federal requirements.
