March 5 – March 11, 2005
03/05/05 Hit and run accident damage was reported to a car that had been parked in the Mill Street parking ramp from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm.
03/07/05 Library employees found an intentionally clogged toilet in the third floor men’s restroom.
03/08/05 Hit and run accident damage was reported to a car parked in the Water Street Pavilion parking ramp from 9:00 am to 8:00pm. Evidence was collected near the damaged vehicle. This incident is under further investigation.
03/10/05 A fire extinguisher was discharged in the stairwell of the Murchie Science Building. There was no fire and this incident is being classified as a malicious act.
03/10/05 A suspicious person loitering in the Murchie Science Building was contacted and identified. A computer check revealed that the subject had a bench warrant for his arrest. The arrest warrant was for a traffic violation out of Troy, Michigan. Troy P.D. would not pick the subject up. He was trespassed and released. A warrant will be sought for failure to appear on the bench warrant.
03/11/05 A vagrant previously trespassed from University property was found loitering in the Harrison street parking ramp stairwell. A warrant for trespass will be sought.
