Weekly Summary
April 30 – May 6, 2005

05/01/05 A subject attending the commencement exercises at the Perini Sports Center felt dizzy and feint and had difficulty walking. An ambulance was notified and first aid was given by DPS until emergency services arrived. The subject declined an ambulance and will seek treatment with her family physician.

05/02/05 A wallet containing cash, credit cards and misc. ID was stolen from an unlocked locker in the men's locker room in the Recreation Center .

05/04/05 A license plate was reported stolen from a car parked in the Mill Street Parking ramp.

05/04/05 A student stood up in a classroom and disrupted the instruction going during class. DPS was telephoned by several concerned students. Upon arrival, DPS observed intervention occurring with the department chairman from the class. The student left the building with referrals for assistance.

05/04/05 A purse containing cash, credit cards, cell phone and misc. ID was stolen from an office in the Harding Mott University Center.

Arrest warrants recently obtained by Public Safety

An arrest warrant for assault and battery was obtained by DPS on a woman that assaulted an attorney in the North Bank building.

Arrest warrants for disorderly conduct (begging), trespass (refusal to leave) and failure to answer notice to appear were obtained by DPS on a man begging for money in the Pavilion.

A felony arrest warrant for CCW (carrying a concealed weapon- a knife) was obtained on a vagrant sleeping in the Murchie Science building.
